Installation and filtering functions work great. My problem is that the chrome decorator finish piece tat covers the end of the faucet was missing. Instead of including that piece, someone had taped a hearing aid battery to the unit. Not usre if they thought that was a fair trade or what.

I’m an old PUR under sink filter system user and since they canceled that product line, I needed a replacement system. I chose this and found most everything matched up with the old components of the PUR system. The water dispensing is somewhat slow and degrades over the life of the filter but the water is great. The key to this system is to find a good dispensing faucet as the one that comes with it is cheap chromed plastic. After reading many reviews about the problems with the included faucet, I used a different dispenser. Actually, it was the same one that came with the PUR system and it works well.

This thing was amazingly simple to install. Tubing merely slides into the inlet and outlet sides of the holder. Cartridge is simple to change, water is so clear you almost can’t see it. I installed one on my boat for the icemaker and cockpit sink.
