It is not made by fridgeair, but it is perfect fit to install. and non expensive too

Thought I was saving money buying a two pack, but my wife said right away these filters are not as good. She could still taste the chlorine in our water. (Atlanta.)

The replacement filters installed with no problems and appear to be functioning the same as the OEM product. Taste and appearance of the water is clear however actual filtration performance of this filter is difficult to determine without testing. I was unable to find any research testing on these filters but so far after 3 months they appear to be working as advertised.

I bought these filters because they were cheaper than other alternatives. I replaced the manufacturer’s filter and ran about 5 gallons through it before I dumped the ice tray. That night my wife noticed that “something is wrong with the water”. I didn’t notice a taste but she did, and she had no idea that I had even changed the filter. After a few weeks I think that it still tastes okay, but my wife refuses to use the water from the refrigerator. I’m hoping that in time the taste sh notices will go away.

I GOT THE FILTER IN A VERY TIMELY MANNER.HOPE TO SAVE SOME MONEY, BUT AFTER REPLACEING TWO OF WATERSENTINEL FILTER THE WATER FROM MY FRIGIDARE IS STILL CLOUDY. SO I DIDN’T SAVE MONEY I HAD TO RETURN TO SEARS FOR A TRUE FRIGIDAIRE RELACEMENT FILTER. LOST TIME AND MONEY.I WILL NOT RETURN TO WATER SENTINEL.
